How the network works
When you call, a real person takes the job: your postcode, what has happened and the price. Our dispatch team then sends it to the engineers who cover that postcode, and the closest available engineer takes it. Each engineer covers the area within 20–30 miles of where they live.
Every job sent to an engineer is recorded with its postcode district, the type of job and the arrival time we quoted. In the last 12 months that was 52,458 callout requests from 1,969 postcode districts, 28,674 of them lockouts. These records are where the figures on our town and service pages come from: how we count.
We publish totals by postcode district only: never an address, a full postcode, a name or a phone number. Photos are our engineers’ own, with key codes, house numbers and number plates blurred. Find your area.
